Highland Park
Located approximately one mile north of Downtown Dallas, Highland Park is a "city within a city" and consistently considered one of the most prestigious addresses in the country as well as Dallas. Its lush, tree-lined streets and vast landscape are a result of the original town plan developed by renowned landscape architect Wilbur David Cook, who also designed Beverly Hills, California. The neighborhood has extremely desirable public schools and excellent shopping and dining. There are also wonderful parks, public tennis courts and swimming pool, and a public library. The highly involved local citizens and active families create a neighborhood environment that many families feel to be unmatched in the city.
Preston Hollow
Well-known and coveted for many years as one of Dallas' premiere neighborhoods, Preston Hollow is renowned for its tree-lined streets, winding "country" roads and beautifully built pre-war and new homes featuring heavily treed lots. The newer section of Preston Hollow has well-built homes from the 1950's as well as many exceptional homes built in the past ten years.
The resurgence of young families building and renovating homes in this neighborhood has created an environment where excellent private schools, close knit, active families and a very short commute to downtown Dallas combine for a highly prized neighborhood and family-focused way of life.
Preston Hollow is bounded by Forest Lane to the North, Northwest Highway to the South, Inwood Road to the West and Hillcrest Road to the East.
Tranquility Farms
Only 46 home sites — many of them backing up to beautiful Sloan Creek — comprise Tranquility Farms, the new LandPlan development in Fairview, Texas. Homes will sit on sites of at least an acre, with some occupying two and a half acres or more. Fairview’s town motto is "Keeping It Country," a commitment LandPlan will honor during development, retaining the character of the land and its natural terrain. More than six acres will be devoted to two interior park areas, each with its own small lake. Tranquility Farms home sites are now available, with custom homes priced from the $900s.
University Park
University Park, a predominantly residential community of 23,000 residents, is located approximately five miles north of downtown Dallas, Texas. The city is the home of Southern Methodist University and is also known for its attractive homes, beautiful parks, and numerous churches. The location of University Park in north-central Dallas provides easy access to a broad range of cultural recreational, shopping, and business activities.
